Portfolio - CTC Plus
From August 2002 to December 2003 I was employed by John Cabot CTC in a new initiative setup by the college to give a years experience doing contract work in both Engineering and Computing.
The ERIC website was our first client for CTC Plus, where we built them a website on top of SynergyCMS, and integrated a forum for their visitors.
Although it is a fairly simple website, great care had to be taken to ensure that it remained discrete and informative, as the target audience would not want anyone else to know they have viewed this website.
The John Cabot CTC website started in 2002 as a simple HTML pages created by our network administrator, McCready.
As our first project, we redesigned the website and applied a basic CMS, which grew though multiple stages until the underlying code formed SynergyCMS.
During the development of this website, I was introduced to the W3C validator and began learning about the power of CSS.
